Classes

 

Aqua Sculpt High

50 minutes of hard core workout for the conditioned athlete.  Strength and sculpt segments, intersected with high intensity intervals.  Equipment utilized for this class include kettle bells, ankle weights, thigh weights, weighted balls, water gloves, kickboards, resistance bands, float belts and float cuffs.  It is suggested that new clients try a lower intensity class first to familiarize themselves with the equipment, pool and work out.  The instructor moves quickly between segments.  There are no rest periods.

Aqua Sculpt Medium

50 minutes of medium level workout.  Strength and sculpt segments, intersected with high intensity intervals.  Equipment utilized for this class include kettle bells, ankle weights, thigh weights, weighted balls, water gloves, kickboards, resistance bands, float belts and float cuffs.  This class is meant for a participant new to the Water Revolution workout who wishes to familiarize themselves with the equipment, pool and work out.  Instructor will assist in equipment change and there will be a brief introduction at the beginning of the class explaining the equipment and best methods to move between segments.

Glide Pilates & Yoga

Workout on and off the Glide board.  Segments of the class will be on the Glide board balancing while lifting light weights, throwing the weighted ball, doing sculpting exercises with bands on the board and then coming off the board for kettle bell intervals, aqua runs and high knee jumps.  This workout is high intensity

Aqua Cycle

Interval training on the aqua bike.  High intensity cycling primarily focusing on legs but also includes arm/hand weights in certain delineated classes.  Check schedule for 50-minute cycle only classes or 50-minute cycle and weight classes.  Equipment utilized in this class is the Aqua bike as well as ankle weights, thigh weights, resistance/float cuffs and arm weights.  There will be a short stretch before and after class.  For first time, aqua cyclers please arrive ten minutes early for a quick equipment and class review.

 

Aqua TRX

Nontraditional TRX workout utilizing equipment hanging from the ceiling and walls.  This classes encompasses many of the traditional TRX moves but transfers them to the water, thereby increasing the level of challenge.  Instead of working body part by body part, Aqua TRX works the entire body in every move through the resistance of the water.  This class is high intensity, no breaks, each move flows into the next.
